Avoid exposure to gadolinium or iodine based contrast media
for 96 hours prior to sample collection. Do not use
disinfectants containing iodine, such as Betadine(R),
during venipuncture.
Promptly centrifuge and separate Serum or Plasma into a deionized
water rinsed plastic screw capped vial using approved
guidelines.
