Fungal identification of pure colony isolates provides an aid in the diagnosis of filamentous fungi and selection of therapy.

Stability of isolates will be determined by the laboratory.
Organism must be viable.

Specimen Requirements: Pure isolate on an agar slant in a
double walled container.
