Preferred Specimen:
10 mL random liquid stool in a plastic, leakproof container.

Instructions:
Submit frozen sample of liquid feces. Keep refrigerated during
collection. Liquid stool is the only accepatable specimen for this
test. 10 mL aliquot of 24-hour, 48-hour, or 72-hour liquid stool
specimens are acceptable.

Note: Sample must be shipped frozen to reduce odor during shipping
and to minimize the risk of the container rupturing due to gas
accumulation.
