Notes
Specimen Requirements: 1 mL (0.5 mL minimum) frozen platelet-poor citrated plasma collected in each of three separate sodium citrate (light blue-top) tubes
Specimen Stability: Room temperature; Unacceptable Refrigerated; Unacceptable
Reject Criteria: Hemolysis; lipemia; thawed plasma
Methodology: Immunoassay, Photo-optical Clot Detection, Calculation
Transport Temperature: Frozen Reflex Criteria If dRVVT screen is prolonged (>45 seconds), the dRVVT Confirmation will be performed at an additional charge. If dRVVT Confirm is
positive, a dRVVT 1:1 dilution will be performed at an additional charge.
