The THxIDT-BRAF test is intended to be used as an aid in selecting melanoma patients whose tumors carry the BRAF V600E mutation for treatment with debrafenib [Tafinlarr] and as an aid in selecting melanoma patients whose tumors carry the BRAF V600E or V600K mutation for treatment with trametinib [Mekinist(TM)].

Paraffin embedded tissue containing less than 50% tumor cell will
undergo microdissection. If frozen paraffin block is received, call
1(800) 642-4657 ext. 2906.
